Dear Jog-a-thon Sponsor,

Sandburg Elementary School and the Sandburg Foundation are hosting a Jog-a-thon fundraiser on April 20, 2012 that will take place on campus during school hours. With the massive budget crisis, the state government is considering several alternatives which will greatly impact our school budget. The Jog-a-thon fundraising allows us to offset these budget cuts and to provide a well-rounded educational experience for our students by raising funds to improve school site facilities and provide academic enrichment opportunities.

The Sandburg Foundation’s goal is to continue to support enrichment programs in place such as the library and the computer lab. Sandburg Foundation’s main focus will be to continue to fund the Physical Education Instructor and enrichment.  The PE enrichment also allows a co-teaching model in the classroom with two teachers in one classroom during PE time which will be even more critical with the expected increase in class size. 

We have included details about the sponsorship levels below which include all sponsors information listed on our web site. Details about the three sponsorship levels are described below and the attached form:

$100 Bronze Jog-a-thon Sponsorship level includes your company listing in a small square on the event t-shirt.  The shirt will go home with over 1,000 Sandburg students, staff and parents, and be worn proudly and often.  You will receive a shirt to wear or display.

$200 Silver Jog-a-thon Sponsorship contribution will include your company information printed in a large square on the back of our Jog-a-thon event t-shirt.  You will also receive an event t-shirt.     

$300 Gold Jog-a-thon Sponsorship contribution has all the benefits of the Silver Sponsorship level.  Your organization will also receive 2011 Friends of Sandburg plaque to be prominently displayed at your business.

$500 Platinum Jog-a-thon Title Sponsorship level of $500 or more has all the benefits of all other levels with higher recognition on web site and larger squares on the back of our Jog-a-thon event t-shirt.
